Well, when I tried it several years ago, all it did was make me sick. It didn't do anything for my pain.
There are some people who seem to have good results with it, but different meds work for different people.
Anyone else who has used this medication, please post your experience with it.

I use Tramadol for lower back pains from several auto accidents and it works really well for me.

It does not work for me at my prescribed dosage. The max. recomended dosage is no more than 400 mg a day. I find myself having to take up to 600 mg on a bad day.

Then rather than take more, you need to discuss the issue with your doctor to explore other treatment options.

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of face, lips, tongue or throat. Stop using tramadol and call your doctor immediately if you have any of these serious side effects:

its the only thing that helps my toothaches.i was given vicodin but that does nothing 4 the pain.

It works very well for my overall body pain I've been mysteriously having since June 09. Just 2 days ago diagnosed w/ fibromyalgia...mild compared to some. It doesn't take the pain away, but helps me deal with the pain. It takes 2 hrs from the time I take to the time it works. It works on your brain...it is not narcotic and I can stop it at any time and not feel any withdrawl. I just tried Savella (see that post under Savella) and I had side effects I did not like.
