Tramadol Overview

Tramadol hydrochloride (Ultram, Tramal) is a centrally acting synthetic analgesic used to treat moderate to moderately-severe pain. The drug has a wide range of applications, including treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, restless legs syndrome and fibromyalgia. It was developed by the pharmaceutical company Grnenthal GmbH in the late 1970s.[1][2] Tramadol is a very weak -opioid receptor agonist, induces serotonin release, and inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine.[3][4] Tramadol is converted to ...

Tramadol Prescription
Any one in the Anchorage,AK area having trouble getting prescription for tramadol from your Dr.? My Dr. prescribe's me 3-50mg. a day, but for some reason he now will only prescribe me 60 a month. When I first started out with him he would prescribe me 90 a month no problem. I have verifiable lower back" degenerative issue" as he put's it. With MRI to prove it. Is tramadol now looked at the same as a narcotic or what? He doesn't even want to discuss the issue. Just weird.

How Long Does Tramadol Stay In Your System
I took 100mg of Tramadol last thursday and have to have a urine test at my pain doc next thurs (2 weeks between dosage and test). I was wondering if anyone has been tested positive after that long?

Is Tramadol a controlled substance, or is there any type of narcotic in them? I would really appreciate any reply. I would like to know ASAP if possible. It has been subscribed to my 16 year old son and I would like to know about the drug as soon as I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! Hope to hear from someone real soon.
