Can nucynta be insufflated?

"Nucynta" is not extended release (aka: time release or ER), it is an instant release(aka: IR)
"Nucynta ER" is the time release version of tapentadol

Me and a few buddies had accidentally taken more than prescribed and after about an hour and a half one of them started mumbling random gibberish while fully conscious trying to talk to us. He kept on referring to me as Tanny, like he didn't know who I was or where he was... It was actually pretty terrifying because by the end of the night I was the only one functional and I had no choice but to watch them freak out, screaming, Attacking and talking to me about absolute random s***. They'd randomly fall asleep and then hop up rapidly and start swinging fists at me trying to knock me out while they had a crazy look in there eyes. I've done alot of s*** in my day "Marijuana, Shrooms, Salvia, Acid, Valium, Morphine, Codine, Oxy" & that was the second worst trip behind salvia, I honestly wouldn't recommend it... I wont even touch the damn things again... But hey, that's me.

Dam some people just make you want to kill yourself if you don't know the truth dont say s***..thank you to all that tried to help with there research. Every body els yea we know drugs are bad but hey life sucks so if you can have alil fun why not....it seems to me its more like tramidal then oxy

I was just prescribed Nucynta from my pain doctor. I a little worried about taking this medication as I have been on oxycodin for the past 8 years. can someone plz tell me the difference in these 2? I get very nervous taking new medications.

Laugh all you want but I have serious stomach problem and cannot tolerate many drugs processed though my digestive tract. I have found that alternative methods for administering some of these meds (not all) work well without upsetting and tearing up my stomach. People that have re-flux, nausea or irritable bowel syndrome, diseases of this nature can have an alternative other than using an inj. method. So I can say this has helped me.

Sorry Biggirl but I disagree about not being able to cut them in half. But as far as relief, I get no help from them.

In reply to Nucynta 100 mg.. just started taking it one month ago and it has helped me more than anything I have taken, oxy, hydro and all the other crap.. I was in a serious motorcycle accident and almost died. @ years later and 8+ surgeries nothing has helped including going home w/nerve block dunno how many times.. this s*** is actually helping for once.. i just lost my leg after all of those surgeries and 2 years later .. it is the only thing that has helped.. anyone else?

You can NOT cut a Nucynta in half so you are wrong by either telling people to do that, or you're not on Nucynta or you're abusing it. Reason being is it's time released and can not he halved or split or all the medication is released at once. Or maybe this is why you have those awful side effects and that is dangerous

Dude are u serious? U were a former junky and ur gonna judge that dude for asking a question.. All be it the question is about insufflating pills and that is the one of the reasons why it is hard for us to get the mess we need. But who are u?? That is some hypocritical bs to say for real.. And I know ur gonna reply with some holier than thou remark about because u were once a bla bla bla and people judge all the time that's what we do.. Give it a rest dude for real. Old boy was asking a misguided question and u of all people don't need to give ur two cents...

Do Not insufflate Nucynta! I am an opiate addict and I wanted to feel high so I crushed one up and insufflated half of it. Oh my GOD did it hurt like hell! And I can handle insufflating things that burn, i.e. crystal meth... swallowing it gets you high enough. Don't insufflate, the burn lingers and I thought I was gonna have a panic attack!

Hey all. First time on this site. A few questions, but some history first. I have neurofibromitosis, scoliosis, and degenerative disk disease. Had triple lamonectomy 5 yrs ago. I toke 6 10 mg norco, wear a 75mcg fentynal patch, Xanax at night and generic titalin 3x every day. Have taken everything, morphine, lortab, oxy, tramadol, percocet, muscle relaxers, anti inflammatories, Savilla, more than can remember. Have never plugged before but am ready to try. Scared to death of needles ! Have a bottle 100 mg Nucynta. Any help on method? Been on all this stuff 8-9 years now. Just want to get a little buzz and help with pain. Oh, I use 15 of the patches not 10 like most.

To all that like to talk s*** on us who are trying to just have a good time shut the f*** up, but with this nucynta just take it orally, snorting this stuff isn't worth the pain it puts you through.
