Thank for the support I'm in day three and feel a little better so far. The sick feelings come and go and my head is up and down but today is a bit better than yesterday. Nights are rough can't sleep but have been staying busy and excercising helps thanks hope. Joey thanks I appreciate the support

Nick,

You will eventually be able to get a full nights rest, do not worry. I know the amount of insomnia varies from person to person but do not worry, it will subside! Stay strong man!

We're you on zubsolv? If so how long did it take you to wean off, an how long did the withdrawals last

I was taking zubsolv. For my taper, I had my doctor switch me to suboxone as I found it easier to divide into smaller pieces. The withdrawal symptoms I had were not too bad in retrospect, except for the insomnia. At first I could only sleep 2-3 at a time tops. Every few days I could sleep more and more though. I may have had a decent night where I would have a good 4-5 hours, then have only have 3 the following night. The point is that there is no set cycle. The insomnia lasted at most two weeks. My doctor was giving me Valium for the anxiety which helped but benzos are highly addicting so I wouldn't recommend that. I eventually tapered off of the Valium though.

Joey
Thank you for the input I following pretty much the same course 2-3 hours of sleep per night and that's about it. How were the withdrawals during the day, flu like hot then freezing cold no energy? That is we're is am and was wondering how long that lasts. I am getting there and have been thru worse as we all have.
Thanks Nick

I did rapid detox and it was awful!! I kept clean for six months afterwards but it's really hard on your body and mind. Really wouldn't advise it. I have been going to a Suboxone clinic for four years now and was tapering myself off, doing fine. Only taking a half to one strip a day. Then my insurance made me start taking zubsolv and I feel absolutely terrible. I'm nauseous, feels like bad acid reflux, cold sweats, depressed. I'm going to have to change my insurance because I cannot go on like this. I have an autistic child, am a divorced and single mom, and going to school too. This medicine has been a total nightmare and I am going to have to change my insurance quickly before I go insane. I've got every single side effect and its not worth it. I was so close to quitting the strips and now this. Haven't touched a pain pill in years and followed the clinic's rules. Counseling once a month, clean UA's, I've changed my life for the better, but these zubsolv are ruining it. Am I the only one? I'm hoarse, thirsty, cry for no reason

I live in Greensburg ,Ky and have been on 8mg suboxone for two years and it's been working great. Last month my dr decided all his patients were going to switch to the new Zubsol or quit cold turkey. This is so wrong, if something works then why mess with it. Does anyone know a good dr in my area who will still give the Suboxone .

Zubsolv is a different dose of Suboxone to get around the 2022 patend. The little Subutex with the arrow and 8 are made by Hi-tech Pharmacuticals. They sick and take twice the dose. If you are lucky enough to get prescribed Subutex don't dare change it keep getting them from CVS. Stick with the round 54/411 ROXANE LABS. Unless you can find the straight died ovals. Been so long I don't know the manufacturer.

Has anyone developed anger symptoms as a result of taking the Zubsolv? Ive only been on it for 3 days and have developed anger where it never was before. The sub tabs were expensive and wasnt certain I was receiving benefits as I swallowed too much saliva. The strips caused tongue sores. Just wondering about the anger, thanks.

That's great Nick! It will definitely take time before you feel 'normal'. But then again, do you even remember what normal feels like? :-). It's a new normal and it's awesome!!! So happy for you Nick :-)

I been on Suboxones for a while now, & I love my Dr, he actually cares, its not about the money with him, he really shows support to his patients, and I love my new life, I hated being on pain pills like everyone else we get hooked on them from surgeries or just from other reasons for us needing pain pills. I have never heard of zubsolv before, only from ones on here talking about them. I feel its all in some peoples head. But there are ones out here such as myself with chronic pain and I think that suboxones really help with chronic pain. & its a God sent drug that really helps and you don't feel high off of it, well at least I don't. I feel normal like the old Trish was back in 1983, thats how long I've used pain pills. Thanks to everyone on here for sharing your stories it really helps reading other peoples experiences.. Yes we are all addicts, but its a disease that can be cured. It's all in our minds. Yes its very hard to come off pain pills. But the suboxones gave me back my life! Thanks to whoever made them.

Yes Dr, I'd say you are compensated by Orexo. You certainly are toeing the company line as I doubt you use Buprenorphine yourself. Your post is old and now they have had approval for release of they 8.6 mg. tabs. If not a strike for bio-availability how then does Orexo justify the release of the stronger dose? What is the rationale?
Thanks

BJ you are so right, that was VERY wrong. Your Dr is allowing the drug manufacturer to dictate treatment and probably for money! I wonder...you're kinda out in the country (unless you go into E-town or B.G, or Lex to see someone), does your Dr. dispense the meds from his office? That's deplorable. I would report him to the State Medical Board. For him to say switch or else is bad medicine no matter how you slice it. I'm sure some other Dr. would be happy to take your money.
Good luck!

I have a question....I've been on the lowest dose of zubsolv now for about 9 months and want to either quit cold turkey or taper down. Does anyone have the most accurate and correct way to do this that's also not a year long process

Hello people. I've been reading everyone's post on here and I got to this site googling about if people felt that the zubsolv didn't last as long as the subs and sure enough that seems to be the overall reaction to most people throughout this site. I've been on zubsolv for about 8 months and I started noticing that during the day I was starting to feel that pain in my leg feeling i'd get when i'd start to DT and after a while I was like I wonder if it is a lesser potency even though they say it's the same because of that bioavailability crap and that's what I now think it is is CRAP! I see my doctor every 3 months he gives me two refills and the last time I saw him I told him I felt different like it wasn't lasting nearly as long and his answer was let it dissolve longer under my tongue. I then thought are you freakn kidding me? The zubsolv already melts away as soon as I put it under my tongue but he want's me to let it dissolve longer!! Well I go back to him next week and I'm asking him to please put me back at 60 a month i've been taking 1 1/2 a day and I've been running out to soon because I end up taking a 1/4 or so more a day to keep that feeling away. I hope he does if not I'm going to start looking for a new Dr which sucks cuz it saves me a lot of money only going every 3 months! Well we shall see!

I have been taking 90 Subutex a month. How many Zubsolv will the doctor most likely prescribe me? I'm worried about the change and possible decrease hurting me.
