White Watson 10mg 325 #853 (Page 13)

I just recieved a new prescription of norco 853 10/325. The last script was yellow and the new ones are white. The pharmacist said that Watson changed the color but the pill is the same, does anyone know if this is accurate?

Hello all! So I also picked up my Qualitest brand hydrocodone on Saturdayfrom Rite-Aid. I meant to post sooner to let you all know how they've been working, but I've actually been busy catching up on laundry, housework and went into work Sunday to catch up on some things since I missed 3 days in the last 2 weeks, due to my pain. Obviously, I'm feeling much better. Pain is decreased, no awful side effects that the Watson brand was giving me, and I feel like I can function in life again. After taking that awful brand, then dealing with the side effects, then the pain after not taking any pain killers except my anti-inflammatory, I finally felt like I could get things done.
These people are kidding themselves if they think that those of us who need these, to decrease pain to live our lives, wouldn't notice the difference in "removing the yellow dye". I felt horrible. I couldn't walk more than 30 ft without feeling like crying because it hurt so bad, and because of the embarrassment of not being able to do simple things at work or home. I felt incompetent, undependable & helpless. When you struggle with chronic pain, and you feel like your quality of life is non-existent, you're so grateful when you find something that works and helps. Then when that help is taken from you, you feel even worse. Not only is the relief and feeling of conquering your temp/permanent disability gone, but so is your faith in healthcare and even your prayers. I'm not a religious person, but I'm sure a lot of you, like myself, have been stuck in a position (standing, sitting, lying down or even in between) where you start praying for the pain to just go away so you can move, walk into your bosses office when they call for you, whatever...
Watson/Activis is toying with our health-physical and mental. And they do not care. They care about making a buck, using half-@ssed ingredients, that could quite possibly harm us.
I'm hoping to get a letter in the mail soon too, a response to my complaint. I'm going to add my own notes and send it back to them. These people are selling us an awful product, and are playing with our health and overall, our lives!!
I hope that all of you are somehow able to switch brands, pharmacies or even doctors if that's what it takes. I feel a million times better than I did just 3 days ago, all because of a simple brand change if my medication. It took some waiting and fighting, but I'm so glad I was finally able to get through to my Dr and both pharmacies. Without the patients, none of the above would be in business, so I hope they all listen to what we are saying and believe it. Please keep us all posted on each of your progress! Hi, well yesterday i went to my dr and my pharmacist after he had a different brand generic norco which i gladly asked him to fill with took 2 in 12 hours and was FINE and this morning did NOT wake up with excruciating BACK PAIN as i had been the last 3 weeks..NO HEADACHes.no nausea..no swollen feet or hands! activas needs to be SUED aND NOW! iwas suicidal the last 2 months thanks to those mfers, plus it was MY LAST 2 months of havinng my own apartment and my cats. I am going to behomeless thanks to disability denying me. my elderly parents have high bloodpressure now because of this bs and vocational rehab says they wont help me because i CANT GET or do gainful employment because of all my conditions. this government is sickening really! i never got any letter from activas and called in a complaint a month ago..i never got the forms from the FDA i requested to fill out the medwatch forms because their website does NOT WORK correctly to fill it out online...why has there not been a recall? an investigation? i told you all i found a company who will TEST THESE and tell us how much of WHAT IS IN THEM but they want $400 which is well worth it to bust these sick sobs i dont have it or i would. the website is drugdetection ..this is WAY less then a 20% decrease of hydrocodone in them for SURE i am saving one of them in case by a miracle i can get it tested and sue these pos. this is bs. and half the messages on this site i wrote in have been deleted GEE I WONDER WHY???? sickening absoutely SICKENING..whatever their trying to do is NOT effecting the junkie losers whatsoever let me tell u so good job hurting REAL CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS WHO R SUFFERING. finally some relief and now i wont be able to continue seeing my dr thanks to this F***ed up government who only give ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS medicaid. and only give disability to CRACKHEADS or bipolar people who are able to function and work just FINE!

I had tried the Qualitest V 3601 and while they were certainly far more effective than these new crap watson they did at a lot of times leave me with some of the nasty side effects. It was hit and miss.

I then switched to Amneal IP 110. They are effective, none of the bad side effects, although I did have some nausea on 2 occasions, once likely that I took one on a completely empty stomach. I would say the Amneal is about 75-80% as effective as the old Yellow watson, same goes for the Qualitest. Which means I will have to take a few more than I usually do in a month, and have informed Doctor, to this

As it stands now, this is how I would rank them:
Amneal
Qualitest
Mallinkrodt

And way, way down at the bottom, so much so that to take them does more harm than good is the new White Watson 853, thus dont bother taking these

I hope Actavis sales, fall, fall, fall, they can kiss my a** what they put me through...

i agree with you webhead i again emailed the fda and they give me some excuses they say fill out medwatch forms i told them i have and their website doesnt work right so it was not filled out correctly n i asked them to mail the papers to me a month ago. they give me bs answer when i ask why there is not an investigation or recall on these yet? ridiculous and my jerk dr doesnt understand this he tried CUTTING My dose AGAIN! after what i have just gone through months of pain and suffering. so if i could get prescribed 6 a day id be fine but he will only do 4 a day and it sucks cuz these amneal do not work half as good as the old yellow watsons do but thats all my pharmacist has or can get. i have tried the others and they did not help me anyway.they wanted to put me on the higher meds too but since they cost a fortune and i have no insurance i cant take them.

Wow...I just posted on this subject. It seems I'm not crazy. For me the white ones seem to work ok but i have to be very careful not to take my next dose too soon even if i need it. It's like they build in my system and by the end of the day I feel drugged, itchy, and sick. Then I don't sleep well ....waking up several times during the night but groggy and weird dreams.

IN 2002 I WAS HIT BY A FORK LIFT TRUCK WHERE I USED TO WORK.I HAD TO HAVE SURGERY TO MY LEFT SHOULDER TWICE.ON MY LEFT ELBOW THREE TIME.THEY ALSO WANTED TO DO SURGERY ON MY NECK.THOE ORTHO DOCS SAID I WOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITH PAIN AND THAT WITH TIME IT WOULD"NT GET BETTER.I'VE SEEN SEVERAL DOC'S OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE BEEN PRISCRIBED LOTS OF DIFFERENT PAIN KILLERS. i was injured while is special forces and have taken all kinds of pain med. Not all have same effect. your wrong its not just in our heads. have a bomb blow u up then call DEA and tell them urn in pain but its all in urn head. stupid....

Ok, I found my way here because I started the new white Watsons three days ago and I am having horrific side effects. Intense stomach cramping so bad I wanted to go to the hospital, strong fatigue and swimmy headed, very feverish feeling, anxiety... Could these new white pills be causing all these symptoms??? What on earth have they put in them!? I am distraught.

The white Watson 853 lasts about 60% less than other brands. However, I feel it's more effective than other competing brand pills such as the M367, IP110, or the 36|01's.

I have been on the white Watson 10 for over 6 weeks, but today I picked up my Qualitest prescription. I discovered that the whites gave me a huge "high' if I ate right after taking them, and the crash was quick and left me lethargic. I don't take my meds to get high, so I didn't find it helpful because I was still experiencing pain. The stomach/digestive problems happened only 2-3 weeks. I only take my meds when I am experiencing pain, with the old yellow Watsons I took as needed, but the whites gave me an achy "flu-like" feeling when it was 7 hours from the last pill. I never fed the achy feeling, but took a lot of Ibuprofen and hot salt baths to get by.
I also like to take 1/2 a tablet a time, but 1/2 white Watson didn't help the sciatic pain. I have already taken my first Qualitest brand and feel much better. Are they as good as the old yellow Watson? No! but they do not have what I consider "narcotic" side effects of the new white Watson. I still have no doubt that the DEA had something to do with the change in formula. The street users like the Old Yellows for the same reason people with legitimate pain do. It reminds me when coke changed the winning formula and made the new coke. Maybe, hopefully, Watson will bring back what their customers want. I am anxious to hear how others are doing and what side effects they have experienced.

These are some of the same side effects I am experiencing and people said "absolutely not" and "all generics are the same". THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME and these side effects are not in our heads!

Things I have experienced:
Diarrhea
Feverish feeling (very hot and sweaty)
Extremely sedated feeling after multiple doses (did not happen before)
Nausea

What could they have put in these pills, that these side effects only happen to some of us?? Do you have any idea?

Hi there. My husband is getting the yellow Qualitest Norco and they work fine. My advice is to stay away from the white Watson. Our pharmacist at Sam's club said the yellow Qualitest (sp) are flying off the shelves. Might as well quit complaining cuz from what I hear not a damn thing is going to change. If u can't take the Watson, take Qualitest. Good luck all. I realize this is a place to vent, but feeding off each other's complaints will not make it better and will only make u feel worse. Peace and I do feel ur pain....As long as the active ingredient in the new pills passes FDA guidelines, we are stuck and it take years for any change to happen if at all. Please just put your energy elsewhere, The MAN is not listening! They don't care. It passed FDA and that is where the story ends.....God bless. Julie
