if i dont take xanax or any type of drugs i only take flexeril 10 mg and ibuprofin and multi vitamin but my husband takes valum 10mg 1x a day and we dont use protection during sex and was wondering if that or any thing im taking would show a false positive on a urin drug test ## No, there is nothing that you've listed that would explain it. However, there has been a recent run of tests on the market that do not seem to be very reliable and many people have been reporting false positives. This is also a danger, when someone uses a cheaper, uncertified test. Have you discussed this issue with your doctor?

I take xanax I have for years. I try to watch what I take so sometimes I dont take what I am prescribed I take less and the doctor knows that because I refill late every month. When the gave me a urine screen they said it came back with no xanax present so they were going to give me a blood test to make sure I was taking it. I took a half a milligram 11 hours before my drug test and had taken a quarter of a milligram 3 hours before my drug screen. Will that show up in a blood test even if it didn't my urine? They said if it don't show up in my blood screen they are going to cut me off. I don't understand how it didn'y show in my urine so now I'm scared it wont show up in my blood. I haven't used Xanax since Feb. 28. I used to take it a few times a week, approx. 2 bars when I took it. I have to start going to court ordered class, & have a possible random drug screen (urine) on the 20th of March. Is this enough time to be off the medication to have it out of my system? I didn't realize it could take up to 6 weeks for benzos to leave the system. I'm 5'3" and weigh approx. 105 lbs. I have a good metabolism.

I take 40 milligrams of celexa (citalopram) for depression. My question is can they tell a difference between citalopram and xanax in a urine test? I am prescibed xanax and mine were stolen, but I was able to get four 1mg xanax to take for my drug test tomorrow. Will they show up in my system if I started taking them on Sunday? ## Very suspicious post. Is there a reason why you feel they wouldn't show up? Make sure to have a spare bottle or paperwork that you are an authorized user of Xanax if needed.

I took half a Xanax bar Saturday at 10:00 PM ..is it possible that I passed my urine test for work that I took Monday at 8:00 am? I weigh 180, 6 ft 7 with an average metabolism. ## You will have to let us know but it is highly doubtful ## I'll be sure to post the results when they get back from the lab. I am 4'11, 100 lbs female who takes xanax daily for anxiety. I quit cold turkey on the first when i had to schedule a drug test for the 16th. I started weaning myself down off my daily dose of about 4mg to about 1-2mg (even stopped taking it on weekends/not at work or in stressful situations) two weeks prior because i knew this would be coming in the close future.. I think i'm being over paranoid but do you think my system will be flushed by then? I can by NO means have benzos show up on my test even though they are prescribed. I have been working out like crazy, keeping hydrated with water and other juices, even drank those nasty 'detox' drinks.. i have been doing everything imaginable that i can think of... do you think i'm in the clear? I have been trying to figure this out, and would like to see if it has happened to anyone else. I am prescribed 2mg xanax, and I take them as prescribed. I had to take a drug test, and no benzo showed up at all! My doctor said that soma, or the generic form showed up, and I am now not in good standings with him. I have never took a soma in my life. The xanax is green, I didn't get the letters from that script. My question is has this happened to anyone else? ## Soma can show up in the liver as a Benzo. So much for all the misguided comments that Soma is never tested for?

I’m taking 1 mg of Xanax 3 times a day. My dr said I would have to submit to a drug test 2 times a year to keep getting them. Xanax is the only pill considered a narcotic that I’m taking. Now I feel like some kind of criminal, having to prove I’m clean to stay out of jail. ## As we know Xanax is not a Narcotic but it is a Controlled substance and it seems some Doctors are doing this testing. I took 1/2 of a .5ml Xanax this Friday 9:30am for the first time in my life not realizing the implications affecting a drug test. I have to test this Sunday afternoon. I have been drinking lots a fluids and exercised this morning but I don't have a fast metabolism. Is there anyway I can test clean being that I never took Xanax before in only a little more than a 48 hour window? ## 1/2 of a .5 ml Xanax? I took Xanax two weeks ago. I have a high metabolism and drink lots of water. Will i pass a lab test? ## My advice is to hold off, be careful for now and find a new doc! ## I am very worried. I have been getting prescriptions for xanax for the past 2 months and my doctor told me I have to take a urine screening next month on January the 11th. I also am a chronic user of marijuana and have been for the past 2 years. Will my doctor stop prescribing me my xanax if i test positive for THC as well?? I took a xanax on saturday morning and had a saliva screening on monday morning. Will xanax show up on the results? I'm 5'8, about 127 lbs. I'm not active and drink on average 5-6 glasses of water daily. What are the chances of will show up? ## YO, I won't say it's 100% certain but chances are very probable that you will. Benzodiazepine's take more then 48 hours to clear especially when utilizing a saliva/swab protocol. Just want to be real with yah. Peace....

I have been a consumer of marijuana for approximately 15 years. I stopped two days ago and I've taken one Klonopin and two Xanax last night. I have to pass a hair drug test and I bought stuff to pass. Is stopping for a short amount of time and only having 5 to 7 days to detox my hair going to be enough to pass a test?
