I take Lipitor (now Atorvastatin generic) and Atenelol on a daily basis. I always take pills out of PX. bottles and put into special container away from children. As there are many generics around, I have mixed up my pills and I now have a white oval shaped (almost flat) pill and I do not know for which it is a substitute. Silly I know but if anyone one knows of a substititute for either of these drugs that comes as described above without any markings whatever, please let me know. ## It's not a prescription tablet, all such tablets dispensed in the U.S. have to have imprints to enable their identification. Thus, it's likely an over the counter product. Learn more prescription drug details here. What OTC products have you been taking recently? ## Thank you - that was indeed my t...

my father was givin this pill for his back pain from a friend but i told him i would try to find out what it is before he takes it. is it a painkiller ## No, this is not a pain reliever. This is actually just a 10mEq Potassium supplement that's used to treat or prevent a deficiency in this vital nutrient. Learn more Potassium details here. This can be very irritating to the stomach, so it should be swallowed whole and taken with food. Are there any questions or comments?

I got a prescription from a mom & pop pharmacy that I always get from but they always give me different pills each time. This time they gave me something and I looked it up on the internet but I cant find it anywhere. There closed all weekend and I'm allergic to a lot of medicines. I tried calling a different pharmacy but they said they can't tell me cuz the mom & pop pharmacy is a compound phamracy (I guess they make there own pills I don't know) it is white and oval and says 13 on it. What is it? Its suppose to be lorstan potassium 100mg ## No, that doesn't make sense, because compounding pharmacies use capsules, they don't usually have pill presses to make the solid tablets. Absolutely no number or letters on either side. Half white half light green ## If there are no markings, it is going to be almost impossible to positively identify. The only thing we can say for sure is that it is not a legal, U.S. prescription medication. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter items. Does anyone else have any ideas?

White oval shaped pill with v365 markings. Are these 10mg. Vicodin? I'm not sure as they are old? Any idea what they are? ## M365 is supposed to be the real marking on a white oval 5/325 generic Vicodin tablet. If there is a cursive V instead of an M, then my guess would be that the manufacturer was none other than Vintage Pharmaceutical (now known as Qualitest). But if it's an M, then the manufacturer is Mallinckrodt. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact either one of these manufacturers directly regarding this inquiry, just to cover all angles. Also, depending on where or how you came about getting this pill, it may even be a counterfeit (if not from a licensed pharmacy)... ## The v 365 is an old version of Vicodin, it was 5 mg hydrocodone 500 mg of tylenol

How much hydrocodone is in this pill and what are the side effects ## Hello, Bri! How are you? Is the marking possible M 366? If so, it contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What is a small white pill that can be split in the middle, has "S" on one end and "500" on the other end? There's nothing on the back. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you? Is the marking possibly S 900? If so, Dava Pharmaceuticals lists it as containing .25mgs of Alprazolam, which is a generic for Xanax. It is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Though they can vary depending on production facility, the inactive ingredients are listed as containing: crospovidone docusate sodium lactose magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose silicon dioxide sodium benzoate corn starch Is there anything else I can help...
