I need dosage information on trimebutina/simeticona for IBS Yes, Trimebutine with Simethicone is commonly used to treat IBS to prevent bowel spasms and flatulence. I am, however, unsure of the dosage, because it will vary on the severity of the condition being treated and the dosage in the medication. i was given this medication for intestinal problems i have my intestine very swollen is this mediation good for that Libertrim contains the active ingredient Trimebutine, this is commonly used to treat these types of conditions as it increases bowel motility and relieves symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea and abdominal pain.
