the pharmacist wasn't very clear on the directions and this is a very large pill so I didn't know if my son could swallow this or not or if I could break it in half it is pink and has rx 763 on the front of it. Hi Teresa, The pill which you have is the 875 mg dose of Amoxicillin manufactured by Ranbaxy. You should be able to break it in half at the score mark and have your son swallow each half of the pill seperately. As far as the dosage goes, I would be sure to follow the instructions ...
