cost of Reclast Filed in Reclast
I had an infusion of Reclast at an infusion center in June 2010 and my Medicare HMO received a bill for over $7000 for which they paid $5800 claiming that was the average price that Medicare allows. My local pharmacy as well as an online quote was $1000 at the time. Why is there such a vast difference between a hospital charge and the retail market price? Reclast contains the active ingredient Zoledronic Acid, it is used to prevent bone fractures in cancer patients and people with certain o ...

had a reclast injection12/8/09 I had shorten on breath after the body aches and slight fever is this normal? I have rapid heartbeat everytime I try to doing anything like running the sweeper, dusting & etc. Flu-like symptoms exist in about 15% of patients who have Reclast (meaning 85% don't experience it). Your doctor should have told you to take Tylenol the day of your infusion and for three days following the infusion. You should have also drank two glasses of water the morning of the infusi ...

I Would Like To Compare Prices For Reclast Infusion Since Was Charged An Exorbitant Amount At A Hospital Centerdu Filed in Reclast
What is the allowable payment by Medicare for a15 minute reclast infusion at an outpatient hospital center. My HMO was charged $7000 for the drug and paid 80% leaving a charge to me of 20%. My local pharmacy charges $1200 for a prescription so my question is why the vast difference in price. I don't have any information on what the Medicare allowable payment for it is, but I can explain the different in price from the pharmacy to the hospital. When you receive a medication at the hospital you ...

Jaw Bone Deterioration Filed in Reclast
I had two Reclast intravenous drugs; one in '08 & '09. In 2008 I had sinus lift augmentation with placement of 10 implants. In 2011, I lost one implant on the top & in 2012, I lost another implant on top again. I went to see my oral surgeon in July '12 and he told me that there was nothing he could do to help me as the bone in my upper jaw is severely deteriorated. Then I went to see a Prosthrodontist in Baltimore and he too could not make me a plate due to the severity of the upper bone. I ...

reclasp cost
How much would it cost for me to by it from you Through my DR. My wife has tried every thing and has problems with them. Humana does not want to pay any part of it. What would it cost me to buy it throught the DR? Are you talking about the drug Reclast ? It is manufactured by Novartis and it appears to be quite expensive. I don't think that this site sells any medications, it is a collection of discussion boards. You might try contacting Novartis directly to see if they offer any patient assista ...
