Nitrofur Mono Macro skin rash or irritation??I woke up with a horrible bladder infection on Monday of last week, I went to the doctors and they gave me a perception for nitrofur mono macro. I started taking it the following day, (Tuesday) .. By Friday evening I noticed a small rash on my inner right thigh. NITROFURA MONOokay i was presrcibed (nitrofur-macr 100mg) and iam taking prenatal pills what would the side effects be? and will it harm my baby? Have you spoken to your doctor about your concerns? Most antibiotics do not harm the fetus, your doctor will tell you which ones you should not take. However, we are not medical professionals to really advise you on this. Nitrofuran Monohyd Macro 100 MgCan it be used abcess infections? Nitrofurantoin is used primarily to treat urinary tract infections. It also notes in the guidelines that Nitrofurantoin must never be used to treat pyelonephritis, renal ABSCESS, and pyeloempyema because of extremely poor tissue penetration and low blood levels.
