whats the difference in metopolol 100mg and tartrate100mg There is no difference, one just lists the complete name, including the designated salt tartrate and the other doesn't. They are both the same medication and will work in the same way. Common side effects to Metoprolol may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and headache. I was checking both medication shown above and notice that they are both for high blood pressure, is it possible that my symptom of dizziness are caused by combining both?
