Isosorbide MN ER 30 MG - I took this drug - 1 each day - for 1 1/2 months to releive the steady pain of Esophagul Spasms and developed severe headaches. Thought at first it was from arthritis in my back so went a chiropractor for 1 month - no help there. Stopped taking this drug for 4 nights and "WOW" No headaches. I did not remember if I had taken the above pill this morning so I took another pill -- that equals 60 MG. Did I do the right thing? I did not feel that I could do without if I had not taken it. This medication, which is commonly used to treat Angina, can cause some problems if you take too much, such as: dehydration, low blood pressure, rapid heart beat and trouble breathing.
