I was taking glynase MF since last 5 years in morning but I couldn't control my diet. What are the differences in Glycomet GP1 Forte and Glycomet GP2 Forte? They both contain Metformin and Glimepiride, however, the difference is in the dosage of the Glimepiride in them. Aside from the 500mgs of Metformin, the GP1 contains 1mg of the Glimepiride and the GP2 contains 2mgs of it. These are both oral antidiabetic medications, that may cause side effects such as: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence. my sugar level has suddenly gone up to moe than 400. After taking metformin 500 3 tablets a day still it does not go down than 200. So I tried glycomet GP2 two tablets per day.
