Drug Test For Meth

Hi i took 40mg of methadone 3 days ago and it was the first time i have ever taken it. Since then i have drank alot of alcohol and was informed a had a drug screen for the military this morning. Before i took the screen i drank about a gallon of water and sat in a sauna for 45 min and sweat a ton. What do u think my chances of passing are since i did that and i have only took it once in myvlife??

I just took a UA for probation, they send it off to a lab and do an immunoassay test first, then if positive, a GC/MS to confirm. I know the funding for the probation office in my county is very scarce, so I would imagine they probably try to do the tests as cheaply as possible. I am a 25 year old female, roughly 160 lbs, and use subutex daily. I hadn't used any illicit drugs in over a year, until last monday, when I used about a quarter gram split between three people. I'm not good with fractions, but i know that would be less than 1/8 of a gram. Today is Tuesday, eight full days after i took my last dose. What are the chances that I failed for methamphetamines? There are so many different answers/opinions on this topic. So i was hoping to get a simple yes or no answer. I am prescribed liquid methadone from a treatment center. I recently got a new job and im about to get hired in, but before that happens I have to go to the hospital for an initial drug test. I know it helps that I do have a prescription for the medicine I take and im not just taking drugs off the street, but with all that said, does it actually show up on a test? Should I be prepared and just get a slip from the doctor before going to take the drug test at the hospital? ## It might show up if the company/hospital requesting the test gets a detailed panel of drugs tested for. I do not take any street drugs at all. I am disabled and I am raising 4 of my grandkids. For a personal reason someone called DSS and they done drugts. I take several mecidens For my disability. At my drug screen testing I was not worried at all because I have a script for everything I use. Well my drug screen showed up as meth and I have been taking NORFLEX.. This is the only med I found that could show up that way. Please help me and let me know if anyone has any information about it. I am new in pain management. My dr gave me a script for oxycodone and said that they will be testing to make sure the medicine is in my system and to Make sure I'm not taking any street drugs. I ran out of my Oxys and was In bad pain and getting withdrawals so I took methadone on Saturday 1/31/15, the next day and my last on Monday feb 2. Between 1/31/16-2/2/15 I took maybe about 10 10mg methadones on Monday February 2nd I had taken my last two because I was able to get Oxys. I go back to my dr and get a urine test on February 10th. My daughter failed a drug test. She claimed she only took bc powder, ibuprophen, and trazodone..... Can u fail a drug test for methamphetamine with this mixture? ## Ibuprofen wont give a false reading for meth! I took methamphetamine late Sunday night around 11:30-11:45 pm. I have a mouth swab on Wednesday at 10:30 am. I only did a little bit, and don't know the last time I even did it. I go to a methadone clinic and i'm on 20 milligrams, it's not showing methadone in my system, and their denying me of my take homes. why isn't it showing up in my system? I've been clean for 4 years. Please, I need answers, they think I'm bringing in someone else's urine. Even in an instant drop it showed no signs of methadone. Thankyou. ## they need to do a test called peak and (trouft) that one im not sure of the spelling. It test how fast you metabolize it. They will take you blood in the morning and then hours later. I had this happen to me years ago and it was solved by this test. I hope this helps you and sorry about my spelling.

I have been on a methadone programme for 3 years now and recently I had a urine drug screen done which came up positive for fluoxitine which the lab tech interpreted as diazepam. I had injected my methadone a few times prior to this test is it possible that by injecting it it gave them the reading of fluoxetine or diazepam?? I was just at my PO. I used methadone six days ago. She sent my ua in to be tested. Do you think it will be positive.I am a think woman and pretty active do you think it will be positive? ## Hi scarf, From what I could gather, Methadone can be detected in your urine for as long as 6-12 days after your last dose; depending on the dosage and frequency of use. If you're pretty active (exercising at least 3 days a week) it will be out of your system much sooner than if you weren't doing anything. I would've also suggested drinking plenty of fluids to help flush your system out, but I'm sure you already did what you could in the time frame you had. I also was told I had a false positive for opiates.. I am on methadone and take depakote, cogentin, trazodone, and birth control.. been clean for opiates for a long time now..they retested me and said I was dirty again.. I know that's not true..of course I'm the liar tho. I also take zantac and prilosec.. could it be my meds showing up dirty for opiates. ## Zantac can cause false positives. Demand a gas chronograph test. This will differentiate what caused the false positive. Do they know you were on zantac or prilosec? If you don't ask, they won't do it, and you may have to pay, but get reimbursed possibly. If you don't, you could even get taken off your methadone, depending on the doctor. Hope this helps- oh and request this before the original sample is destroyed....

so i been in a methodone clinic for 5 months now im on 90mg and i just started drug screening for court they do no i am percribed methodone but i slipped up yesterday morning and used a 20 i havent used in awhile but my question is i drug tested today i drank 4 bottles of water before testing and my pee was very clear will this possibly be duilted enough to not be tested? im not sure what test they will be using but at court they gave me a 5 panel test and it was just the basics and it came up opiate but they put on my test if positive for opiate its methodone and i was only on methodone at that time so it really was methodone but im just hoping its diluted enough or cleaned out or maybe the methodone will be found but not h im not really sure just need to no what others think thank you

My husband has been on methadone for 8 months at 10-15 mg per day. He recently has gotten put on probation and has to come off of it. WILL METHADONE ROXANE THE RED LIQUID SHOW UP ON A DRUG TEST? ## It depends on the type of test being done, there are a few basic ones that don't look for it, but most of them do. Thus it would be wisest to assume that it's a broad panel test that will check for it. Have you already had the test?
