I am afraid to take the DOXY-CYCL HYCL 100mg tabs becaus eof the side effects. Yet I have been told I have cellucitis on my lower right leg. I have also been given CEPHALEXIN 500mg CAP LUP Are there any alternatives??? ## The first thing you need to understand is that cellulitis can be a very dangerous infection. In cases where people left it untreated, they have lost limbs or had to have large sections of flesh and muscle tissue removed that resulted in permanent scarring and disfigurement. So, the point I'm trying to make is that the risks are far, far greater if you don't take the antibiotics and let the infection continue out of control. And as to their being alternatives, no there aren&...

What does this pill look like ## What does Doxyxyclin HYC tab 100mg look like...should it be a salmon color with a MP 37 on it ## no it should be an oblong blue ## Well first off, let me put an end to the argument by stating that once a drug is available for generic production, it can look like whatever the company making it wants it too look like. Yes, Kelly could have had an oblong blue, but that is not the only 100mg Doxycycline available. The only r...

I am taking baclofen for trigeinal nueralgia. When I started on the doxycycl, my med for the tn has quit working as well. Is there an interaction? ## Hi barbb, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Baclofen and Doxycycline. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. One possibility that just crossed my mind, is that the inactive ingredients found in the Doxycycline tablet are effecting the bioavailability or absorption rate of Baclofen. I would bring this to your doctor's atten...

Is this pricing right or am I getting robbed? ## Have you asked the pharmacy about it? It is normal for prices to fluctuate, a lot of it depends on what their supplier is getting it for, as well as your location and etc. There are also some cases where they may have a certain medication under contract, so they can offer it for a very cheap price for a certain period of time. This is often true of medications that are on $4 and $10 lists. Then once that contractual agreement has run out, they have to charge more. For example, Walgreens does this with their program, you pay to join it, but then you...
