Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, this is an SSNRI antidepressant.
Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache.

SIDE EFFECTS WILL GO AWAY AFTER A WEEK OR SO I TAKE THIS MEDICATION FOR JOINT PAIN AND IT MADE ME SICK IN THE BEGINING. I STARTED OUT WITH 30MG THEN WENT TO 60MG AND NOW HAVE NO SIDE EFFECTS AT ALL. I was prescribed Cymbalta by my doctor for migraines and muscle tension headaches. Miss A Dose & Bad Side Effects!
I've been on Cymbalta for 3+ years & currently taking 90 mgs a day. I am a diabetic w/ fibromyalgia, lymes & a recovering alcoholic. It has been working quite well for me HOWEVER... if I miss a dose or even take it later in the day than I should...LOOK OUT!
