clear capsule with brown powder, look and smells a little like snuff. ## If there are not markings, it might be a bit difficult to determine exactly what this contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, because they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products and there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Learn more OTC drug details here. What is your general location? That may help me narrow down where to look. ## Sounds like ginger root I took those while pregnant for morning sickness and no markings and yes the same smell

my friend shot up a brown and yellow capsule thinking it was a 15 mg oxycodone (stupid I know) when she poured it out it liiked like brown sawdust and when mixed with water it looked like mud. Either way, sooon after she had horrible head pain thinking she was dying and began vomiting and eventally had pain throughout her body (muscle aces everywhere, pain in entire back) and has been weak and in the bed ever since. Any ideas on what this was and any posible long term effects she could have. ## No and going right along with that to the second question, no. If there are no markings on it, then it was most likely something that's available over the counter, because all prescription products are required to have imprints in the U.S. to enable their identification in case of emergency. ...

This pill is suppose to be used for weight loss ## If there are no markings, it may be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. Do you have any other information on it, such as where it is from, or what the ingredients are supposed to be? ## No, there are no unique identifiers (markings) on this capsule. It is suppose to be used as a dieting supplement. The contents of the capsule is light brown and it looks like sand with some white powder substance.

i found a ziplock bag of these brown and yellow capsules with no imprint on them. what are they? ## If there is no imprint, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is, however, we can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. It is probably something available over the counter, but there is also a chance it could be a foreign medication, of some type. Does anyone recognize this?

strong narcotic pain med brown capsule with 812 written on it ## I have a round brown pill that has BP 812 imprinted it on, thought it was one of my pain pills for severe back & neck pain. It. It doesn't seem to be doing anything. When I tried to find on the internet by description, it said it was for Urinary pain. I don't have that. Does anyone know if this is a narcotic, or something for urinary pain? thank you ## Does anyone know what a Brown Capsule with 812 imprinted is for? ## I have been prescribed them for urinary pain or, moreover, the symptoms from a bladder infection. They're not strong pain pills, they just numb the bladder so the sensation of urgency is kept to a dull roar and the surge of discomfort at the end of peeing subsided. ## BP 812 Pill imprint BP 8...

Clear capsule pill with brown that looks like piwder on the inside ## With no imprint, it might be difficult to determine what the capsule contains. It is most likely an over the counter product, since they are not required to have imprints and the description makes me suspect that it is some type of herbal supplement. The problem there is that there are quite a few possibilities, such as Valerian Root, St. John's Wort and etc. Where did you find it? ## Hi, I found a clear capsule that looks brown and green i believe. With no imprint or markings on it.what could it be?

Trying to identify a red capsule with no imprint, having brownish powder inside. ## Hello, David! How are you?? With no imprint, we can rule it out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification and compounding pharmacies use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product of some type. Where was it found? Some over the counter products are regional, so knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. ## I got a similar capsule from Walmart in Reno, Nevada. ## I have red and white capsules with no imprint that are supposed to be Ibuprofen 800mg. Is anyone able to confirm?

It is used to treat depression, and anxiety. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? And Millie yes!!! So very glad he came to you with it!!

Please help someone switched these with mt sleep medication and when I dumped it out the smell was awful ## Wow! That's awful. What medication do you take for sleep? If there are no imprints, it's going to be difficult to determine what they contain. Is the substance inside them brown and powdery? If so, that coupled with the smell makes me suspect that they may be Valerian Root capsules. It has a very foul odor that's definitely hard to miss and it will cling to your hands, if you get the powder on them. It's an over the counter supplement that's used for it's calming effects and is basically harmless, unless you'd take too much of it, be allergic to it or have a medical condition that is contraindicated.

found dark blue capsule no imprint brown and a little white powder inside says could be vitimin, diet or 30 mg oxycodone. Anyone know for sure. Found in tylonol bottle ## Light blue dark blue capsule with "tecnalab" on it and white powder inside ## Hello Dena, In the U.S the FDA requires that all prescription medication, such as oxycodone, are required to have an imprint on their medication for identification purposes. So at least we can rule that option out. This leaves us with the following options, diet pill, supplement, vitamin or illegal substance. None of these options are required to have markings or imprints, but sometimes companies will still put a logo or imprint for their own identification purposes. If it were a supplement, diet pill or vitamin it would be very diffic...

I found this like dull yellow/gold looking capsule pill with brown powder inside it... Can anyone help or tell me what kind of pill this is??? ## Hi ashley, There are hundreds of herbal supplements that share a similar description, so this is what tends to come to mind initially. However, without an imprint it could literally be anything from A to Z. Someone in another discussion thread here had also found a yellow capsule with no imprint inside of an anabolic steroid bottle at: Discuss/Yellow-capsule-with-no-markings-197988.htm. Hard to say if that's a possible suspect or not, but I would encourage you to have the contents analyzed by a lab if it doesn't cost too much. Just out of curiosity, whereabouts did you find it at? Maybe the location can provide us with some additional ...

orange capsul no imprints or marks when in half it has brown oval pieace ## If there are no markings or imprints, then we can rule it out as being a manufactured U.S. prescription product, because they are all required to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Thus, the most likely option is that it is something that's available over the counter and that leaves it open to quite a few possibilities. Learn more OTC drug details here. Large white gel capsule. With compounded sticky substance shaped in an oval also. Somewhat of a flavory sweet smell and dark brownish in color. ## Hi, Butterfly! Where did you find it? There are 3 options here, since there is no imprint on it and all manufactured prescription products are required to have imprints to enable their identification in case of emergency. The first and most probable is that it is some type of over the counter product. From your description, my best guess would be an herbal supplement. The next option is that it could have been something specially done by a compounding pharmacy, since they use their own, generic empty capsules. And the last possibility is that it may be a foreign medication of some type, since they are not regulated by the FDA. Does anyone els...

I found a capsule at my work, we've been having a drug problem so I was thinking about telling my boss but I don't know what kind of pill it is. It's brown on one half and orange on the other with the imprint "MK" with a circle around the letters. The markings are on both halves of the capsule on the same side. I opened it a little and white powder started coming out. Any help would be appreciated.
