I have taken an ear drop containing 14mg of benozocaine per ml. I have used about 4 or 5 ml in the last 2 days. I have a court ordered drug screen tomorrow. Will the amount of benozocaine i have used in the eardrops show up as a false positive ## Considering i had one over cepacol go bad, check your sobriety dates for benzo's. Gl and gb

I have taken several at home drug tests with a cut off of 300ng. Will I pass a gcms? Iv passed before with a faint line. On both thc and benzo Iv had faint lines on the home test and passed the gcms but today I had to pee into a cup with a 12 panal drug test on the side and showed very faint lines but I only had a small amount of pee in it. I guess I want to knw if the benzo cut off on the home test of 300ng is the same as a gcms with a cut off at 100ng? ## There was a fain line on benzo drug test results for my 17 years old son. they don't want me to take my vyvanse....because my urine test showed benzos. Why do I have to NOT take this when I have a scrip. I am in an intensive therapy program....for grief and very little alcohol. vyvanse saved my life......and now they want me to stop it for the next two wks. I have been going to a methadone clinic for a lil over 2 years now. Recently I've been failing drug test for benzos. But I never take them. Does anyone know if benadryl or sleep aids(all over the counter) could cause this? Or maybe herbal remedies for hep c? Plz help! I'm on probation and went in to take my random U/A yesterday. I thought I had nothing to worry about cause I don't do drugs. The dipstick test came back positive for benzos and they said they are sending it to the lab. I am currently taking cephlaxin (keflex) bactrim ds and tramadol. I read that the bactrim can cause a false positive. When it goes to the lab will they see that there aren't benzos in my system? I tested positive for benzodiazapine for a job. I think they just used a test strip. I had a single dose of 200mg topiramate xr given by my doctor. I had bactrim ds, prescribed by my doctor. I had not eaten for 20 hours so I know my glucose and ph levels were out of range. Any ideas? ## If they use the cheap, unreliable tests like that, it can be hard to say, because there are many substances that can cause them to show false positives. It could be related to one of the medications you took, or something over the counter. I have taken about 50 klonophins in about three days, how long am I looking for these to get out of my system? ## That is quite a large amount to take in that period of time and you are running the risk of overdose. That said, many Benzodiazepines, especially at high doses, with long-term use can be detectable in your urine for as long as 6 weeks. Have you gotten the test results back, yet?

I take 10 mg Lexapro, 3 mg Melatonin, and Loratab 10/500 daily and tested pos for Benzo.. . I want to know if tramadol shows as an opiet in a hair follicle test. The company I'm working for does a thirteen panel drug screen. Been trying to get into a suboxone program. Already in 1 but this 1 is thru the VA & I get my meds free there so I'm sooo happy 2 get out of this civilian clinic. I've had two drug screens & the following are the results: + sub, + thc, & + benzos. The THC, says my nurse, is OK as long as my levels continue to drop. I was taking vistaril and failed a drug test for benzo. I was just wondering if it can show up as benzo? I need proof for court and dont know what to do. ## Yes, vistaril has some similarities with benzos. Vistaril however is prescribed for itchiness, sleep as well as mild anxiety. I take Methadone, Wal-dram, Trazodone, Celexa, Gabapentin and Nyquil. I showed positive for Benzodiazepine and never took any. I have only been taking buspar. 10 mg twice daily. i tested positive for benzo's!! HOW & WHY?? ## The Buspirone in Buspar has been known to cause false positives for LSD, so a false positive for something else may not really be too surprising if they used a cheaper, non-certified test. Had you taken anything else though, even over the counter products?

I am taking buprinorphine and phenergan tablets. I have not ingested any benzodiazepams, and I take UA's for my probation officer regularly. I recenty had a test come up positive for something called oxazepam then they were all clean for a while and then months later showed up for benzodiazepams again. This is very concerning to me as my freedom is at stake. Does anyone have a clue what could be going on??? ## this shouldnt be happening if you arent using..if you arent using and this still shows in your tests then the testing is bad
