Apap 500

Pale blue caplet, imprint "IAPAP 500" on one side. One site stated it was possibly Tylenol 500mg, but I tend to doubt this. ## The APAP is standard medical speak for Acetaminophen, but I can't find anything for what the I stands for. Where was it found?

I was injured in 2003 and it took until 2009 for workman's comp to agree to a knee replacement...my pain level in mainly a 9 throughout the day ... i have become homeless and cannot afford to get to the doctor but i need my oxycod/apap 5/325 (1-2 every 4 hours). Just wondering if this was a typo..7.5/500? All I can find is 7.5/650 and 750. I know it is generic Vicodin but am worried about the directions saying take 1 or 2 when the previous script was for 5-500 and only was directed as take 1... I do not want to take more than before...5-500 was more than enough,.. Need to know if I should break in half..... ## Can you provide the imprint from the tablets? Including all letters, numbers, and/or logos? Then I can double check the dosage for you and the normal dose taken. It is made in that dosage, however, if your doctor did not mention changing your dosage, I would recommend calling their office to check, or checking with your pharmacist. Is this correct? ## Hi Bayou1966, That is correct; the pill marked M357 is 5-500 mg, while M358 is 7.5-500 mg. They do look similar as they are both from the same manufacturer.

NO EXPIRATION DATE ON FULL BOTTLE. GIVEN TO MY MOTHER FOR CHRONIC PAIN. DOES NOT TAKE AS OFTEN AS IT WAS PRESCRIBED FOR. HOW LONG SHOULD SHE KEEP THIS BEFORE IT HAS LOST IT EFFECTIVENESS. THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON THE PRESCRIPTION AND THIS CONCERNS ME. ## A pharmacy or hospital always dispenses these with a one year expiration date from the date of the prescription. In addition, these types of medications do not turn dangerous after the expiration date, they simply start to break down and lose effectiveness, so even if it is past the year, they may be less effective, but still safe to use. (Please note, this does not apply to all meds, there are some exceptions that can become dangerous after their expiration!)

white oblong pill says watson on one side ## I cannot verify what it is from this description, there are many tablets made by Watson that bear their logo. Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic for Lortab or Vicodin, it is a narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth. Is this legal to cut the medication down this much at one time? I have been on 6 10/500 mg hydrocodone/Lortab for well over a year now for fibromyalgia, scoliosis, arthritis, bulging disc, bone spurs, etc. The clinic dr. decided that he prefers the patients there (all/any that take more than 4) be cut down by 2 a day, now making it 4 daily. Shouldn't he lower the dose slowly just as he slowly raised the dose? There has been no substitute given. I already take ibuprofen too. Now I'm feeling more pain and I HAVE TO WORK. Is this legal? whats in it and what are the efects if it is out of date ## Those are the ingredients, Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, it would be a generic for Percocet. The side effects do not change if it out of date, you can still experience: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. However, they may not be as effective. Medications tend to deteriorate over time and lose their potency.
