Amphetamine Salts Er 20 mg plz help Filed in Amphetamine
I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, but never really took any sort of medication. As the years past, and I progressed into adulthood signs of my ADHD presented themselves more clearly which effected my personal relationships and overall work output/performance. I decided that the adult thing to do would be to research and talk w/ my doctor about possible steps. My doctor suggested, along with a confirmation by a psychologist, that I start taking Adderall XR. So I was given 20 mg of the gen ...

Amphetamine Salts Er 40mg Filed in Amphetamine
My 9 year ols nephew is on 40 mg a day this seems too much! He seems distant and depressed all the time, should I be concerned? Hi Kerry, From what I could gather, the usual pediatric dose can range from 5mg up to a maximum of 60mg once daily. The extended release capsules are not recommended for anyone age 6 or under, so I can only speculate that his body (from a biological standpoint) may not even be ready to handle this medication. Safety guidelines for this medication note that if any ...

I take 2 30mg of Amphetamine Salts ER a day and I am tired Filed in Amphetamine
I have been on adderall XR for several years now and it has always worked great. Recently my pharmacy switch me to the generic form, Amphetamine Salts ER 30mg Cap. I am tired all the time now and I all I ever want to do is sleep. Is this normal? Is there a difference between Adderall and the generic form? The proper generic for Adderall is mixed Amphetamine Salts, so you may want to double check your prescription. Your body can also get used to the same medication and dosage if you have been ...

D Amphetamine Salt Combo Time span Filed in Amphetamine
I take 30 mg ER twice a day and it seems to wear off latter on before the evening time. Does anyone have this issue if so what do you or your doctors do to fix this. From what I could gather, many people are saying that the D-Amphetamine Salt Combo seems to only last about 4 hours before it's initial effects start to fade. However they may or may not be referring to the extended release version. Others have also stated that the generic doesn't necessarily work as well or as long as the name bran ...

Amphetamine er works great for my two sons with ADHD Filed in Amphetamine
We just lost our health insurance and can no longer afford the meds. Do you know who makes it? I am not sure what to do. This has been a life saver for a 13 and 8year old. $170 for 3 months, I am out of work!!! Were you referring to the mixed Aphetamine salts that are a generic for Adderall? If so, I'm sorry, but the only assistance programs available would be for the name brand and Shire Pharmaceuticals no longer offers a program for it. http://www.prescriptiondrug-info.com/drug_details ...

how long are amphetamine salts effective in the system in a 40 mg dose,as compared to dextroamp-amphet ER in a 30 mg dose? Timing is going to be somewhat different for every person, due to their metabolism, however, the half-life of amphetamine is roughly 12-13 hours and is excreteted renallly, with significant portion unaltered. Metabolization takes place mostly in the liver. The average elimination half-life for d-amphetamine is 10 hours in adults. So you can see here that they are active i ...

DEXTROAMP-AMPHET ER 25 MG Filed in Amphetamine
Should Dextroamp-amphet ER 25 mg be taken along with Amphetamine Salts 5 mg tablet? Not unless a doctor has specifically instructed one to do so, for some reason. It is doubling up on the same thing and these are stimulants, so too much can cause some serious side effects, such as elevated blood pressure and elevated heart rate. http://www.prescriptiondrug-info.com/drug_details.asp?title=Amphetamine&ad=true Where they prescribed this way? ...
