Amphetamine Drug Test

What happens if I show up for amphetamine lows in the 25-300ng/ml for a urine test from my doctor and then he sends it to the lab? I am prescribed that and I got my license finally. I had a breathalyzer in my car. I have been clean for a year and a half or 2 and he's got me on a medical review from the DMV in Wisconsin. I guess all I'm trying to say here is I don't want to lose my license. That's my job and if I lose them I am fired. So could you help me out. ohh and I was addicted to heroin and I have been doing good for pretty much 2 years. The doctor is proud of me but I was drunk and I took one and I regret it. Thank you.

I took a half of a adipex yesterday and i go to a methadone clinic. I was drug tested this morning and if i come back dirty my phases that i have earned will be taken. Do you think it will show up in 24 hours? ## Adipex actually contains Phentermine, not Amphetamine salts, but it can cause a false positive for them. And there is a chance that it can be detected for up to 5 days, in a standard urine test. Have you gotten the results back, yet? ## How long does D-Amphetamine combo 20 mg stay in your system? I recently took a pre-employment drug test and failed in amphetamine. The only thing I took (prescription or over the counter) in the past week before testing was roseday (rosuvastatin and fenofibrate). Will this give a positive for amphetamine? ## You didn't mention what type of drug test. A hair drug test has some of the lowest rates of false positives. In general the two drugs you mentioned should not give a false positive for amphetamines. Actually this is a question for and MRO. And what should my levels be? ## Most doctors will do drug testing to make sure that you are taking the medication as prescribed and not selling it, or abusing it by taking more than prescribed. They will also check for other drugs when doing the same test. I have somehow tested positive for amphetamine but the only drug that I touch Is marijuana. How is this possible? I took Nyquil, Vicks Inhaler, Robitussin, and metformin for almost a week and half every day even up to the day I took my drug test. I had 3 weeks notice to when and what day and time my test would be taken. I was just hired on to this job 3 weeks ago and I had been layed off for two years before this great job came along. I went to my subutex dr today and was refused my medicine because my drug screen came back positive for amphetamines. I was shocked! Ive taken percocets over the years as my drug of choice. I've never touched diet pills or speed, etc. I am 5 months pregnant and afraid i will withdrawal. I am on wellbutrin and robitussin among other things. I was taking 32 mgs of subutex a day. I researched and found that wellbutrin and robitussin as well as vicks nasal spray can ALL cause false positives for amphetamines. I called my Dr and told them what i found and my situation. I am on random drug testing for probation and got a letter in the mail from my p.o saying I failed for amphetamines on the 13th of October. I was sick, and not working on the 11th or 12th. I took some OTC medication for my cold. I took some Allegra D and some Day Quil. Will this cause a false positive? How do I go about disputing this. i have been taking adderal for years now and got drug tested twice and both came up negative for amphetamine. Now the doctor will not prescribe them to me, but I take them twice a day. What could this be from???? Very frustrating.. ## Demand another drug screen to be done somewhere else like your local hospital, I have had the same thing happen to me, I was told if you're takin other meds they can sometimes block the amphtmines from showing up. They can refuse your request for another drug screen, and if you get the drug screen done at your local hospital, just take your results to your doctor, if he refuses them, talk to the C.E.O over the whole doctors office and your doctor will be forced to atleast read your test results, but don't wait too long.

I am on probation for another 4 months this is the second time I am fighting revocation -this was brought on again by a postive for amphetamine and methaphetamine result.I am currently taking 90 mil. daily of adderall xr-the courts have my perscriptions on fill but every week for the last 18 plus months I have tested positive for meth-I realize that if you are a juvy and are adderall they cannot test you-My question is then as an adult and on adderall why am I tested even though the juvy courts know they cannot get an accurate result on a ua if client is on adderall then why am I being tested. I also just tested positive with the oral swab for amphetamines after a minor fall at work. I am still waiting for the urine result because of course it happened on a weekend and they haven't analyzed it yet. My job hangs in the balance I take no prescription meds only an asthma inhalor. I went to security about my accident knowing full well they drug test you, voluntarily never expecting any kind of positive result for anything. ## I just read through these posts and one said menthol cigarettes! I have taken 145 mg total of dextroamphetamine in the past two days. I have a four panel drug test coming up, and one of the drugs it tests for is methamphetamine. Will my test show up positive for methamphetamine, because dexedrine is an amphetamine? They specifically test for methamphetamine, not all amphetamines. If it will show up, how long should 145 mg be in my system (i'm 160 lbs with a fast metabolism)? What is the most effective way to flush my system?

I am in the hospital currently for lung probs. The problem is I came up positive for methamphetamine. I take a multitude of meds..i have heard ranitidine (zantac) can cause you to fail a urine analysis. Is this true? Please help me with any information whatsoever. If i take 15 mg of Ephedra (green Stinger) in the the am will i test positive for methamphetamines in my urine in afternoon ## Hi roxy, Ephedra is known for causing false positives for Amphetamines as well as Ecstasy, so I would just be cautious of that if you do have to go in for a drug test soon after taking it. I went and had a urinalysis done, it came back positive for Methamphetamine. I took a dollar store pain reliever, sinus meds, and Seroquel. Could this cause a bad urine test? ## I had a positive result for amphetamine, amphetamines and methamphetamine. I do not do drugs !!! I am a nurse and lost my job. My daily medications are: 200 mcg synthroid in the morning, seroquel 100 mg at hs, Xanax 1 mg 3 times a day but only take 2 mg with seroquel at bedtime for sleep and occasionally 1 prn, 20 mg Lasik prn, 20 meq potassium prn, vitamin b-12 1 time a day, Sudafed prn, albuterol 2 puffs daily prn and had just had a work evaluation that I got excellent on all levels. Someone please explain to me why a company would do this !!!!

i recently tested positive for amphetamines during an oral swab drug test. i currently am taking a number of perscription medications, Buspirone, Clonazepam, Mirtazapine, Venlafaxine, & Quetiapine. I also take 800mg Ibuprofen as needed and an asthmatic inhaler when needed. I was wondering if any of these medications alone or combined could create a false-positive on the drug test i took?
