since i started taking this medication i find it very difficult to pass urine...is this normal?? Looks like this medication isn't manufactured in the US, but I was able to find the active ingredient to be Bisoprolol. The doctor prescribed Hexarone for me but the opthalmologist eventually found a residue deposit as a result of the meds on my corneas. The specialist changed the meds to Bisohexal, later on the new Med Aid scheme changed it to Adco-Bisocor. The film on my corneas are getting worse. I have been prescribed Dco-Biscor 5 mg 1/4 daily What is the nearest dosage available? Adco Bisocor contains the active ingredient Bisoprolol, it is a beta blocker that is used to treat hypertension and cardiac conditions. I am afraid it is only available in 5mg or 10mg tablets, so if your doctor wants you take less, you will have to cut the tablet. I changed my BP drugs to Adco Bisocor - a small dose of 5mg a day for marginally raised BP. The previous drugs were causing hair loss and severe weight loss, as well as loss of appetite. At first the Adco Bisocor seemed fine - I've been on it about 4 years now. The hair loss and weight loss were almost totally reversed.
