Can One Use Amoxicillin Instead?

Refill-when To Start
I was given a refill for Azithromycin. The Dr said the first course would stay in my body 10 days. When do I start the refill? 10 days after the first dose or right after the third (and last) dose on the first prescription? Can't reach Dr. Yet.
