1	Mimi Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 10/21/2009 4:26:34 AM I have two prescriptions for Clarith romycin but the pills are no the same. The older one has oblong yellow pale pills with DV on one side and D on the other. The brand new prescription has larger more tapered oval pills, the same pale yellow, stample 7158 on one side, and 93 on the other. Are both 500mg Clarithromycin tablets as stated on bottles??

This is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
