Thought the was what does it LOOK like? MST Continus, the most common brand of morphine sulphate tablet, m/r, are purple with '30' on one side and 'NAPP' on the other. They are biconvex and unscored. There are many other types of morphine but most are capsules. I have heard that in the USA there is a white 30mg morphine i/r tablet but don't know the markings, never having seen one. I have also seen a grey tablet which was claimed to be morphine sulphate m/r.
Usually, Morphine 30mg is either Maroon or Green. The Brand Name Is Made By Purdue Fredrick Pharmaceuticals, which is Maroon and Side 1 says PF and Side 2 says 30. Here are 2 generics: Maroon; Side 1: M in a square [M]. Side 2: 30. That's Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. NOW, The Green one is: Side 1: E 653. Side 2: 30. That's Endo Pharmaceuticals. Those are 3 Morphine ER (Extended-Release) Tablets that I am familiar with, the first one is also known as MS-Contin (Morphine Sulfate) Contin. -Kyle
I found about 15 capsules...half green, half white. No Markings About the size, maybe a little bigger than a multi vitamin tablet for men. What could they be?
Regularly, my morphine sulphate, 30 mg, is small biconvex purple tablet. New supply is pale blue/gray, similar sie and shape with 30 on one side, plain on other. Is this possibly the same contented pill or have I been duped?
A 30mg. morphine: is white, round, can be cut in half, also has the # 54262 on it. This is in the U.S. There are other non-brand names, colors for the same morphine 30mg pill
