I think what you have to do is change benzo for awhile like ativan or zanix. or do another drug like an opiate for awhile till you tollerance come down. I call it drug jumping
I have taken many anti-depressants, and suffer from generalized anxiety disorder. I have also taken klonapin/zanax for this condition. I am familiar with over the counter medication, and many prescription medications for bacteria.
sorry i thought this was a decription area, lol. I was going to say, ive taken klonapin for a long time, and if you take that much (14mg) a day, i see that as an obvious sign of addiction. It is a very addicting medication. I would be very careful and talk to your doctor about it. That amount could also easily be seen as an overdose. (I assume you must be taking it for seizures). You really need to lower your intake.

The effects you initially feel when taking these medications are only side effects, which should wear off as your body gets used to the medication. You should NOT feel the same effects for the long term.
I have to agree, what you are dealing with is addiction and abuse, you need to speak to your doctor.
my brother has CP and now for the lst year he started to have Panic attacks really bad and they put him on this med. to help but it really isn't helping its making it worse he is flipping out and they have had him on other meds. that don't help either give some sujjestions please I need hlep. going Crazy//////
You're not supposed to take it to feel good in the first place. But before I get critical, I also am in that same situaton. Taking more and more isn't the answer for me. But whatever your case may by, DO NOT quit abruptly. Even a trip to the ER might be wise because they cannot allow a patient to have the possibility of going into seizures, no matter how you acquired them. If you have klonopin being prescribed to you, just accept the sitaution for what it is and be honest with your doctor. When my doc cut me off, I found out about my rights as a patient and basically threattenned to call the Medical Board if he subjects me to the agonixing withdrawal and likelihood of seizures. Then he did re-prescribe the klonopin at a lower dose. I did not feel comfortable, but at least I didn't have so much anxiety that I would maybe seize up.The whole craxy world is seeking some kind of a high. Don't be hard on yourself, the withdrawal alone will nearly torture you.
