It can be useful but only if you go to a planned parenthood or another clinic in time to get the proper medication. If you get cytotec by itself and try to do an abortion at home, it only works some of the time and can cause extreme abdominal pain and cramping, cytotec is a drug they use to help induce labor when you are in the hospital about to have a baby. It starts contractions. If you go to planned parenthood they give you RU486 which is 2 pills. To have an abortion which you take and the fetus will come out in your urine. If you get cytotec at home, and take it, it's different, you have to insert 8-10 pills into your vagina and lay still. Then within a few hours you should have terrible pain and contractions and then pee the baby out, it's dangerous because it does not always work especially if you are 8 weeks along. Go to a clinic. Or a counselor.
