I am taking 1 80mg oxy a day or an average of 10 norco 10/325 a day and am really wanting to quit. I dont have much money and dont like going to treatment centers that treat me like a low life. I am a hard working citizen that is looking for an honest outpatient treatment center that is coast effective. Is this doable. I have taken saboxone before and relapsed when I was in a sevear accident. Is there anyone in OC CA that can help

Have you tried going to q psychiatrist? My dr. Actually gave me an rx for subutex for depression (new studies show it helps with treatment resistant depression) but anyway most psych's deal with addiction problmems and will help!! So I say maybe find one in your area that deals with addiction as well. I got an rx for 30 pills of 8mg which he refills when I run out. Really really helps. And while it's pretty much the same as suboxen, it doesn't contain nolaxen sp? Which he said CAN cause depression making someone WANT to eventually relapse. Just an idea. Good luck!!

You can check to see if a doctor in your area provides Suboxone at their website: Subxone.com

As to not having insurance, Suboxone treatment is very expensive. If he was on a measure dose of the Suboxone, to try to treat his addiction, then it is doubtful his withdrawals will be severe enough to kill him, but after 2 years on it, it will take quite awhile for them to taper off. He will be miserable for a long time!

When I stopped pain management, even just taking Morphine and Oxycodone as prescribed, it took almost 2 months for the withdrawal effects to taper off and for me to start feeling human again.

For assistance with prescriptions, you can try PPARX.org and they may be able to help!
