3	Kate Says: Report Abuse Friday, 8/7/2009 10:31:34 AM It is a water pill, a diuretic - generic form of Lasix - I don't think your sister should be taking that without a Doc -- I have to take additional medication just because I take this. I can understand where some women might be tempted to take it for bloating or to lose water weight - but not a good idea.
