1	David Says: Report Abuse Thursday, 7/16/2009 1:46:53 PM Some of the most common side effects of Omez, also known as Omeprazole (experienced by over 1% of those taking the drug) are headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness, trouble awakening and sleep deprivation. Research I have gathered shows, It is confirmed in clinical trials that the incidence of these effects with omeprazole was mostly comparable to that found with placebo. That said, you shouldn't have to worry much about the side effects of this drug. I am not an MD, so if you do feel concerned about the side effects of this drug, I would urge you to contact your doctor for any possible alternatives.
