Dr. also put me on 150 effexor XR together with this Lamictal, I can't tell this is helping, but does anyone know of a good drug for energy and without bad side effects?

The side effects should start to wear off as your body gradually adjusts to the drugs you are taking.
If they don't or you have something that is particularly bothersome, or inconvenient, then I suggest talking to your doctor.
A drug for energy isn't usually the best bet, since it will just add more side effects that you will have to deal with.
I find lamictal to be VERY depressing. like thoughts of killing myself. I almost left my husband because I felt so worthless. I take about 2 naps a day. Can't work, Can't drive
I find Lamictal to be very helpful! I have been on every other antidepressant/mood disorder drug and finally this is the one! I also have OCD and I find it to calm my obsessions and thoughts, I take it along with cymbolta this gives me lots of energy and balances off nicely with lamictal. Try it with a upper antidepresent due to side effect of drowsiness.
Wake up Mary! No, I'm just being funny. I right there with you!! Can't do anything no work(was a RN) cant drive cant type but ... I CAN sleep. Dont give up, Mary. We have an illness - we didnt want it be nice to you
