Neurontin is the brand name and DOES NOT contain gluten, whereas the generic equivalent-Gabapentin DOES use gluten as a filler. This has been found at www.glutenfreedrugs.com
2	Jim Says: Report Abuse Tuesday, 6/2/2009 11:16:20 AM Actually, there are some generics that are gluten-free too. I also have Celiac disease and take the 300mg capsules made by Greenstone and I've never had a reaction. Once my prescription was filled with the generic from Apotex and I took one pill and felt horrible for a solid week. BTW - the only side effect I've noticed so far is occasional dizziness - which is much easier to deal with than the peripheral neuropathy pain. Hope this helps.
