1	Loesha Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 12/3/2008 7:53:59 AM Your doctor should have told you that you had vertigo and that prednisone can sometimes help. The side effects you were experiencing are created by vertigo, which can be quite nasty. Your equilibrium is messed up, you go one way and your body goes the other way. In Canada we have only one drug that is allowed in to treat vertigo and that is called Serc. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Doctors have started small doses of prednisone to counter act the vertigo. I don't know if the results are positive or not.
