2	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Friday, 6/15/2007 8:36:47 AM Well it is a type of steroid, so it can affect your bodily hormones and cause some mood swings and etc. These side effects are not very common and if you are taking it for awhile, they will normally wear off within a few weeks. And in this same way, yes it can sometimes affect intimacy for awhile while your body is adjusting to the medication.
