I have 500 mg capsules of penicillin V. What is the correct daily dosage for an adult wieghing about 145 lbs?

500mgs is a normal, adult dosage, though sometimes it is adjusted according to the severity of the infection being treated.

We aren't medical professionals, though, what has your doctor suggested you take?

This is an antibiotic, so common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea.
