My 3 Year Old Taking Keflex For A Spider Bite?

1	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Friday, 10/6/2006 11:04:04 AM Well Keflex is an antibiotic, so I am not sure what it is supposed to do for a spider bite, unless it had gotten infected. I would recommend seeing your family doctor and talking to them about this.

It is draining now getting smaller and it was cultured and grew out staph infection. Go to Dr. It will get ugly
3	Kerri Says: Report Abuse Monday, 10/16/2006 10:50:17 AM Take her to the Dr. and get checked out. I was bitten by a spider recently and was sent home with keflex. It didnt help at all!!! Ended up having surgery twice along with 21 staples in my leg all caused by a brown recluse. Spider bites are very dangerous and can do a lot of damage.
