1	Lisa Says: Report Abuse Tuesday, 3/4/2008 11:38:01 AM my 84 yr old mother in law was prescribed microbid for uti. she has hbp and diabetes and is taking meds for those and for thyroid. just read blurp about microbid only if you have no other conditions. should she be on this?
2	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Thursday, 3/13/2008 1:26:59 PM That is actually something that is entirely up to her doctor, if she has regular appointments so her conditions are being regularly monitored, they might have decided that the benefits to her outweigh the risks of taking the medication.
