Iconsulted my doctor who advised me to take additionally BUPRON300mg inthe morn. & FRISIUM10mg inthe evening but of no avail. Now on 2day's consultation he has advised to take GABAPENTIN300mg& METYLCOBALAMIN 500mgafter dinner along withmethycobal 500mg twice daily inaddition to PARAXITINE 40mg after dinner. I'm sorry, but we are not medical professionals and even if we were, based on the limited information you posted, we could not possibly guess as what would be an appropriate treatment for you.
When deciding how to treat a condition, your doctor must take many factors into consideration.
I can, however, tell you about your current medications and what they are used for, I will post them separately to avoid confusion.
Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant medication that has also been shown effective to treat certain types of nerve pain.
Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and constipation.
Methylcobalamin is a vitamin B12 supplement, some people who are deficient in this vital nutrient suffer nerve pain, so it is often prescribed as an adjunct to help treat it.
