1	Crystal Says: Report Abuse Tuesday, 8/11/2009 12:08:34 AM Based on the abbreviation of hydrod/apap 5/500 that points to the active ingredients Hydrocodone 5 mg / Acetaminophen (APAP) 500 mg, which are the same ingredients as in Vicodin. Mallin is most likely referring to the manufacturer of the medication (Mallincrodt?) - So yes, what you have is a generic equivalent of Vicodin.
