My boyfriend is bi-polar. He started on Lamictal 25mg a day and has gone gradually up to Lamictal 250 mg a day. Most of the time I think that it has worked quite well, but as the dose has increased I have found his moods have become increasingly eratic again. Is it possible the dosage is too high? Also can you drink on Lamictal? Maybe the combination of alcohol and Lamictal together could also be affecting his moods. Thanks
