i need this pill identified its a red round tablet marked 44 on top w/ 319 underneath in a single serve wrapper marked lot# P47439 Exp. 10/09 on the clear wrapper in black ink
It's Benzonatate Benzonatate (ben-ZOE-na-tate) is used to relieve coughs due to colds or influenza (flu). It is not to be used for chronic cough that occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema or when there is an unusually large amount of mucus or phlegm (pronounced flem) with the cough.
