Every medication has a time span that is considered a half-life, this is the amount of time it takes to reach 50% of its therapeutic level in your body, the time frame then slows, until it is finally eradicated. Prolonged used of a medication or high doses can delay this time period. Klonopin has a particularly long half-life to begin with, of around 35hours, so it would take approximately 3 days to be purged from your body at a regular usage dose.
