plz help me with the decision to take medicine letoval - iam also suffering from pcos is it ok to have baby before treating pcos.
I am 28 yrs, married for 11 yrs, having 9 yr old daughter. I had 3 miscarriages after my daughter and after my last miscarriage i stopped trying for having babies. It has been 3 yrs now that i didnt conceive after it.
the problem now is i started gaining weight every month & slowly my legs got swollen and i was becoming much obese day by day so after consultation by our family doctor he advised me to go for a thyroid test t3, t4, & tsh. The results were that my tsh level was not normal (5.71/miu/ml). he concluded that i was having thyroid problem and thus suggested to consult a well known endocrinologist in the city so at that time i was weighing 87 kgs & he said it was lots of weight so he prescribed me for thyroid treatment as well as obesity treatment [tab: thyronorm 50, tramse 5 mg, obelit 120 mg, omegec, alprizalp 0.5, Indowin 1.5 mg] so even other tests were also performed along all were normal except the usg of abdomen which said ovaries [left o: 28x 21 mm, right o: 30x21 mm ? pcod pattern] and stated impr: fatty liver advance TVS for better evaluation of ovaries.
so i continued my medicines and thus after eating them for 3 months i saw no effect instead of more weight gain & i just left them & forgot about that then now again since 3 to 4 months iam observing iam gaining more weight & thus oedema on my feet is also increasing as well as on my hands iam not geting my periods regularly and are also scanty and i am often having white discharge & iam now weighing 98 kgs thus my husband took me to my gyneac and thus i told her my problem & she also said that i was suffering of PCOS & also conducted my thyroid test se.prolactin, and other blood examinations came normal. my problem is my doctor directly prescribed me medicines for regulating periods [Meprate] and then starting from 2 day of cycle [tab letoval 2.5 mg 5 days] Is it ok to start infertility treatment before treating pcos [letovol is not good for infertility treatment ?]
can you plz clear my doubt whetehr to take the medicine letovol or not and how to go for pcos treatment.
