Hi, My husband takes per day 2 eptoin tablets since he was in 8th std.. once he had fallen down from somewhere and cos of that doctor has prscribed these tablets if he stops taking these tabs he will get fever headache and feel week... and also doctor has told him to take these tabs life long.. So i want to know is it necessary to take these tabs life long or do i need to get him checked nce again..?

I am also victim of EPTOIN 300 MG per Day. This medicine is given for brain / nerve disorder which cannot be identified. I would say if it is not broken don't try to fix it. So don't stop taking this medicine ever as this has Phenytoin Sodium and this salt is harmless but just control's brain activities. If you want to leave this medicine then it should be under Dr. supervision without him NO cause this salt may cause some other permanent problem if left in one go.
