1	Steph Says: Report Abuse Saturday, 12/20/2008 1:20:12 PM Hi Teresa, The pill which you have is the 875 mg dose of Amoxicillin manufactured by Ranbaxy. You should be able to break it in half at the score mark and have your son swallow each half of the pill seperately. As far as the dosage goes, I would be sure to follow the instructions on the prescription label - So if your son is supposed to take the 875 mg each time, then please ensure he is getting the full dose (even if you're breaking the pill in half).
