1	Cw Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 8/26/2009 2:05:16 PM Can somebody explain to me what the differences are between Diltiazem CD 180mg Cap(sule?) vs. Diltiazem HCL ER 180mg Cap(sule?). If I remember correctly, a pharmacist told me that the ER stood for extended release and that the CD type of the medication was quite different, but I'm not sure about that. TYIA.
