1	Tiffany Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 12/14/2005 3:37:11 PM I think you mean the drug Darvon - No, Darvon is not generic for Darvocet. Darvocet contains Acetaminophen + Propoxyphene Darvon is only Propoxyphene.
2	Dana Says: Report Abuse Thursday, 12/15/2005 6:08:05 AM No it is definately darvin 32.5/325mg i thought darvon at first too but the bottle definately says darvin when I submitted my prescription to an online pharmacy for darvocet this is what I got in the mail. Does anyone know about this??
3	Tiffany Says: Report Abuse Thursday, 12/15/2005 11:08:50 AM Dana, You're right - Darvin IS actually another brand of Acetaminophen + Propoxyphene, basically the same as Darvocet. Encyclopedia actually did say the following: 'In the United States, dextropropoxyphene HCl is available as a prescription with acetaminophen in ratio anywhere from 30mg / 600mg to 60mg / 325mg, respectively. These are usually named Darvocet, Darvin, or Darvon.' I guess you learn something new every day ! Tiffany
