i have been takin clonazepam for over a month now for restless leg syndrome {.5mg}
the first 2 weeks they worked really well then my dr also put me on imipramine 25-50 mg at night to help me sleep but it makes the rls worse and the clonazepam doesnt even relax me anymore also on welbutrin 2x daily

I took a few different prescriptions for restless leg syndrome before being sent to a Neurologist. Restless leg syndrome is neurological and hereditary, my father had it but we all just thought he was very anxious. My brother and I now both take a combination of Mirapex and Sinemet CR. Both drugs are Parkinsons drugs that control tremors. My brother had been to more doctors than I and on more different drugs than I. We have both found relief with Mirapex and Sinemet CR even though, to my knowledge, restless leg syndrome and Parkinsons are not related.
