1	Kristan Says: Report Abuse Wednesday, 7/18/2007 1:55:07 PM Bactrim should never be taken during pregnancy. However if the benefit far outweighs the consequennces, the doctor will sometimes make an exception. I think you will be ok. Just get to a doc right away. congrats
2	Verwon Says: [Moderator] Wednesday, 9/3/2008 12:50:57 PM This medication, containing Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim is a combination antibiotic. It is listed as Pregnancy Category C, which means the effects on pregnancy are not known, so please see your doctor.
